Cut the Static: Human-Led. AI-Assisted. Soul-Driven. The Future of Content.

This morning I made the mistake of listening to YouTube while I cleaned my house. Normally I listen on my stationary bike, with both hands free, which is probably why I never noticed how much I fast-forward through things.

I clicked on a new moon video from one of the best voices in astrology. She’s smart, direct, and usually has a refreshing perspective. Most importantly, she doesn’t bog down her teaching with personal drama.

But this time, it felt like watching late-night paid programming.

Slightly entertaining.
But mostly one long commercial disguised as content.

After 20 minutes of this hour-long “new moon update,” I bailed.
Not gently.
Not with a shrug.
I was mad.

And I had to ask myself.

Why?

But I already knew.

We have this incredible, free, global platform where you can share anything. Entertainment. Education. Creativity. Perspective.

And that should be enough. A chance to add something meaningful to the collective conversation.

Instead, the airwaves are clogged with people who want free advertising.

Thinly-disguised sales pitches.
Content with a hidden agenda.
Modern marketing assumes everyone has the brain cells of a banana. That they have to be led somewhere. Told to do something. Not given too many choices or they will get overwhelmed. Yet we’re already overwhelmed by the marketing itself.

Fast-forward the infomercial.
Fast-forward the ad.
Fast-forward the “and by the way, if you want more…”

And there’s nothing left.

I don’t want to be that.

I want to assume people are intelligent.
I want to assume they’re not so fragile that they can’t make a simple choice without being spoon-fed.
I want to assume they can navigate information without coercion.

Another creator I follow recently said, “It’s not social media anymore. It’s just media.” And he’s right. We’re all broadcasters now. We have the opportunity to make good programming or flood the feed with garbage.

And by garbage, most people immediately attack AI.

But honestly? Even the AI-generated stuff isn’t as bad as the human-generated infomercials.
At least the AI Joe Dispenza parodies and the AI cat videos are trying to be art.

But these shameless promos dressed up as insight?
Those are a stain on the word “marketing.”
They’re lazy.
They’re offensive.
And frankly, they undermine every creator who actually has something real to say.

That’s why…
I’m not worried about AI.
I’m worried about lazy humans.

Lazy creators will clog the airwaves far faster than a machine ever will.

If this is the mess we’re swimming in, then the only real question becomes:

As soul-aligned entrepreneurs, how do we create without becoming part of the noise?

First, let’s tackle the elephant in the room: AI

I have worked with AI chat for years.

I have written hundreds of blogs, thousands of posts, emails and even text and FB messages.

I have tried everything from feeding one fragmented thought in and seeing what came out, to fully training a bot in my blogging voice. I have had it write thousands of words that I carved down to a few very viscerally potent phrases. I have fed it thousands of random, grammatical nightmares and asked it to make something coherent with it.

Here’s what I do know, after years of working with AI as my assistant:

AI is not the threat.

AI is the assistant.
The amplifier.
The tool that helps your real voice rise.
The tool that helps you face your own blocks, find your rhythm, refine your tone, say what you actually mean.
The tool that takes a fragmented thought and lets you sculpt it into something honest.

AI can help you write if you hate it. It can help you refine your writing if you love it.

And while it cannot give you integrity.
It cannot give you soul.
It cannot make you tell the truth.

Using AI does not make you unethical. It won’t turn your masterpiece writing style into rubbish. It won’t make you lazy and unable to form a grammatically correct sentence. It doesn’t mean you’ve tossed your morals out the window and are actively crafting the downfall of humanity.

It means you can do more of what you love, easier, with more flair.

Why?

Because AI is a teacher.

Learn from it.

AI is an assistant.

Let it make your life easier.

AI is an editor

Let it kick grammar’s butt.

The choice is your.

Regardless how you create..

Here’s how to create with soul

Using your gifts, respecting your audience and honoring the opportunity we’ve been given across every free platform.

Speak like they are awake:

Instead of assuming people are sleepwalking. Assume consciousness. Assume awareness. Assume presence. Modern content often talks to people like they need to be jolted into engagement: “Look here! Do this! Don’t miss out!” It’s insulting and exhausting. When you speak to people like they’re awake … emotionally, intellectually, spiritually … you shift from pushing information to inviting engagement. You don’t need theatrics or fear tactics. You just name what’s true for you, clearly and directly, and trust that it will be heard. Not by everyone. Just by those who are ready. And a byproduct: Speaking to an awake audience forces you to be awake yourself. It pulls your writing out of performance and into honesty. It removes the fluff, the theatrics, the begging for attention. Awake content cuts through the fog because it isn’t trying to hypnotize anyone. It is simply meeting them where they are.

Create like it matters:

If your content exists only to fill an algorithmic quota or funnel someone into a sale, it’s already dead on arrival. Creating like it matters means you’re not tossing content into the void just to stay relevant. You’re sharing something that actually carries weight for you. An idea, an insight, a truth, a perspective that makes you fired up will also make someone stop and think or feel or breathe differently. Creating like it matters means you’re not using your platforms as dumping grounds for filler. You’re treating your work as a contribution. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be profound. It has to be real. When you create from the place inside you that actually cares, your audience can feel it. And when you create from obligation or strategy, they can feel that too. Make it matter, or don’t hit publish.

Share without the infomercial:

People are exhausted. Not by long content, but by content with a hidden agenda. When every post is a pitch dressed as value, trust erodes. Let your content be content, not a Trojan horse for a sale. Give people something meaningful without immediately asking for something back. Offer insight because it’s worth offering, not because it ticks off a box on your funnel. When you strip out the disguised selling, people exhale. They open. They trust. And ironically, that’s what makes them want to work with you, buy from you, subscribe to your membership. They don’t feel hunted. Sharing without the infomercial restores the relationship between creator and community. It says: “I’m here to add something, not extract something.” And that alone cuts through the chaos more cleanly than any marketing tactic on the planet.

And when you do use a platform to let people know what you do: Market with integrity.

Respect the intelligence of the person on the other side of the screen:

Most marketing is built on the assumption that people are barely functional. That they need to be tricked, nudged, cornered, or herded into a decision. That mindset alone creates half the noise online. When you respect your audience’s intelligence, everything shifts. You stop dumbing down your writing. You stop assuming they’ll get confused or lost. You stop manipulating their fear, urgency, or desire just to get a click. Respect means creating content for whole humans, knowing they have discernment, agency, and the ability to choose for themselves. It means offering clarity instead of coercion. It means trusting their capacity to think. When you respect the person on the other side of the screen, your entire way of creating changes. You’re no longer playing the game of “outsmarting” anyone. You’re simply speaking human to human.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about algorithms, platforms, or even AI.

It’s about responsibility.

It’s about choosing to create with honesty instead of performance, clarity instead of noise, and respect instead of manipulation. When more of us choose that path, the landscape changes. The quality rises. The noise thins. And the people who are hungry for something real can finally hear it.

Speak truth.

Create with soul.

Let that be enough.
